I have no idea what the true status of his injury is - and I won't speculate - but I'll say what I've said since the beginning: if Eichel wants to get out of here then he should take a page from the Rodgers/Green Bay handbook. Play this year and play it well. Move him at the draft in 2022. Let's see Eichel be a dominant 90+ point player between now and then

Adams will let him rot until he get's a deal he wants but Eichel can't be on this team next year, can't have the distraction every game. Next season will be hard enough.

Getting more and more pissed of, I was very vocal about how he F@cked us after his exit interview. Way to be a Captain with your hockey team, don't want him anywhere near this young core.

He has been on a bunch of teams already though, so that is weird, but still. Maybe he'll be able to stay in NJ for more than 3 years this time.

I follow eichel on instrgram. He had a post last week of weights and a medicine ball on the ground.

Now just doing light workouts and going for a skate isn’t playing 82 games of physical hockey but he sure isn’t shy showing that he isn’t just sitting on the couch either
