I just would trade a winger for a center--- cause right now our center depth might be the worst in the league-----------------------------------------------------by far
- bigmacdaddy

We can trade for a centre but not trading away Suzuki, Caufield or Romanov

I agree we need a center, but I wouldn't call our center depth worst in the league. Probably the worst in the atlantic division though.

i guess maybe he's expendable now. he could die of natural causes at any time anyway. i mean i guess they'd get LTIR relief.

it's thin in terms of experience, but I doubt the departure of Danault automatically made them the "worst in the league by far"...

Danault said he would get pp times in LA, something he was not getting in mtl.

That makes way more sense for me than 500k a year.

You're right I forgot Ottawa so it's not the worst in the division. Others in the league include Seattle, Arizona, Vegas, Anaheim, Minnesota, and I'm sure there are more but I can t be bothered to go any further. We need a center if we're going to try and improve upon last year's team obviously, but saying it's worst in the league is an exaggeration.

First he was saying the Habs never got back on his counter offer. I think he's a whiny female dog who wanted out because his ego got bruised.

Hains: A Busy Day

Everything that had been reported in advance arrived in Habsland and then some, but Marc Bergevin’s work is certainly not done for this offseason.

- Karine Hains

quite satisfying, good signings, good cap control.
now if they are serious they have to trade for a center. I'm afraid kk could be part of the deal, unless they go for a buffer who would not cost a lot to acquire.

Why does the first sentence sound so similar to Radulov when he left

the way I see it, kk would be part of the deal only if they go for a home run (like Eichel).
if they decide to trade for a center with only 1 or 2 years left on his deal, basically a rental, they could keep kk on the 3rd. that would give him time to mature.
