No Pat, I’m not a classical music or cello enthusiast but I do have a big range of musical taste and pretty much anything can set off the juke-box in my head.

There are definitely too many wingers on that roster and MB did say he was going to keep looking on the trade market for help at C and a puck moving D which is good news, means he acknowledges the need for such a dman. At centre, I don’t know if Poehling is ready for the NHL but even if he is, he is the easy one to send down to Laval as he won’t have to go through waivers to do so. For now at least, the 3rd C is Jake Evans the way I see it and Poehling might prefer a lot of ice in Laval over barely any ice in Mtl.

I really hope Perry is back, his leadership was huge in the playoffs and they’ll need it without Weber. Also, seeing the goalie market and how much good ones cost, I’m glad the Habs found a way to keep their tandem.

ohh, that's cool Karine! now I can add Yo-Yo Ma to my repertoire

and I also hope Perry is back (and that he won't be a god damn maple leaf)

Yeah... seeing him in a Leafs jersey would suck and would mean he won’t win a Cup... i’m hoping he comes back i hated him on other teams but loved him on the Habs lol.

Looking forward to seeing what Hoffman can do I admit...if Drouin is back and functional, the LW is starting to look pretty good.

noice hahaaa...

and yeah Hoffman definitely adds a little well-needed scoring touch, and as we were saying earlier if he could now find a more experienced player at C, and add a true puck moving dman, that would address the most immediate needs before the season starts. I have a feeling Drouin will perform and we'll all be glad he's back

I’d like to see Drouin get a chance with Suzuki and Caufield, god knows Jo can dish some very sweet passes for Caufield to unleash the one-timer..besides, I guess his value is at an all-time low as well so makes sense to put him in winning conditions...is it training camp yet?

yeah for a short off-season it seems to be going very fast and incredibly slow at the same time lol

and yup DD will surely have some nice combinations to play with offensively

Great minds think alike.
No joke though, it'll also help JD get his mojo back. It's definitely worth a trial!

Am I the only one thinking Drouin will be shipped? The guy had mental issue and If there’s something that could break it it’s certainly MTL and their media’s/bipolar fans.

Still think he will be trade.. we will see. I can’t see him starting the season, maybe I’m wrong.

That would be the softest line in the NHL. You need someone like Anderson on that line who can win puck battles

If I had my way with the current roster as of this morning, I'd consider a 2nd round pick, Byron and a good prospect to Seattle for Dunn. The good prospect ( maybe 2) for Dunn, the second round pick to take Byron to even up some cap dollars. Then see about Krejci as a free agent for a year or 2 ( my mistake if he's already been signed). I'd be very pleased with that roster.

Right now, the optics behind that would be awful. After the draft debacle, I really can't see them shipping him out. I can see Byron taking the 4th line C role, as he's played centre before as well.

There are too many wingers right now. The 4th line cost about 3.4-3.4-2.2m, that’s way too much. I can’t see Armia playing 4th lines minutes, he will be on the 3rd.

Toff/Caufield
Hoff/Andy
Armia/Gal
Drouin/Lek/Byron (Pauquette/Evans).

Someone will be trade. Too many players. Weak center as well, alright D although an offensive Dman wouldn’t be bad, they might try Wideman first tho

Well that value is the 5.5m you’ll get off from this. Can always sign Saad if a spot liberate.

Can’t see it. Just like Price. Habs will die with theses contracts. Hopefully Gallagher is healthy next season..

agreed,
but if you take the emotions out of it, he'd bring the best return, they have too many RW... would make sense on that level.
won't happen though.

Depends the roomers were that It was relationship related and not hockey/media pressure.

I'm willing to give him one last shot if his head is the right place.

Canada force is winter. I’m not following really the summer vibe but usually Curling / Hockey / Speed skate / Snow / Ski etc have lots of men as well.
But it’s nice to see the women win theses medals though
