Yeah you’ve never been one to care for facts so I’m not surprised.
- Feds91Stammer

I'm not particularly hurt by your comments. I'll say it again: Gaudreau is a better hockey player than Rodrigues.

Buy it low and dump Pettersson @ the same time.
- Barnaby36

So then we’ll have two guys from the top 6 out until 2022, how do you plan to navigate that?

As we stand right now, per Feds, insert E-Rod and Simon in the lineup and roll with it until December.

Why is literally everyone splitting Geno and Kap? I see it every time someone post a lineup.
- 668710

I can only answer for myself, but since Guentzel will stay on Sid's line and I'd like to get somebody better on the boards with Sid I like bumping Rust and Kapanen both down a line.

I'm also not as married to Kapanen and Geno together. Kapanen is a good regression candidate and won't help Geno get the puck back.

Saying it multiple times definitely doesn't make it come to life. This ain't Candyman.

I'd hope Guentzel stays on Jake's line.

The only hope is if Zucker is still on the Pens come opening night that he finds chemistry with someone else.
- Rinosaur

I'll take those odds. Zucker's best hockey of the season by far was with Carter.

While I'd have preferred to use Zucker and Pettersson's cap space to make other changes, I'm not too upset they're still here. I think Zucker will have a better season and I'm much more comfortable having Pettersson with Marino than Matheson.

Also agree with what Feds said earlier about creating holes in the hope you fill them with better firs in free agency rarely works out.

With STL struggling to move Tarasenko, I wonder what it would take for the Pens do get him with 50% retained.

Totally forgot about Tarasenko. Good one if we could send #28 the other way.
Is Sceviour still under contract?

Is it Boston College that employs the small/speedy forwards and big tall dmen? I felt like that's kind of what Tampa tried to model their identity after. Seems to be the trend too, I feel like Montreal, now Seattle, etc. been trying to put that sort of team together lately too.

Im not sure the answer to your question about Boston College, not a big follower of that league, but I think you're on to something there. VGK's D-men are pretty massive too.

College Hockey is a pretty sweet product.

Been to some Denver U games and for the price and vantage point, better than the AVS.
