He had 3 really solid seasons as a starter followed by 3 not great seasons the past 3 years.

He's bizarrely finished with exactly an .896% the last 3 seasons despite seeing his workload halved. The Sharks haven't been very good the last two seasons specifically.

There's definitely a lot of experience there. Had even better numbers in the playoffs in the 3 years he played well for SJ.

I think there's something to work with here. Honestly just kind of excited we didn't sign Dubnyk.

I’m ok if it plays out that way. What I am worried about is if he’s one of those guys who needs to play a lot to be good. He needs to be able to bring it with 1/4 of the starts.

I didn’t understand that either, Bean looked like a good player and his AHL stats are spectacular, he put up some points in the NhL in his short stint as well.

A lot of money being thrown around right now on foolish contracts for marginal players. Not sure if teams are desperate or not but its definitely shaping up to be a sellers market, which given the flat cap I am surprised at. Glad the Flyers are not spending wildly, and honestly they don't need to. They have rebuilt their team with good trades, so just get a couple of complimentary pieces and move one. Still have not seen the Yandle deal posted, wondering if he is getting better offers from other teams?
