Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher expressed exasperation, "Unfortunately, this brazen act has left us unable to sign any old veteran players. We'll have no choice but to play the kids". Holtby is friendly with Hart and could be a valuable mentor. He would have to bounce back from a subpar year. This could be a good opportunity for him.

Mrazek's SV% on scoring chances and high danger chances are way higher than Andersen's. Andersen also coming off a couple of less than stellar seasons. Both have injury concerns. Mrazek seems like the better value.

Holtby has tons of high level starting experience and could come cheap like Yandle after getting bought out. I'd be fine with him as our 1b behind Hart.

We're losing Konecny, Foerster, Lindblom and next years first. At least.

Not sure that I agree. Laughton at 3m is a deal and easily moveable if something changes
