So far, this offseason has not been the dumpster fire I expected. Losing Gourde sucks, but getting rid of Johnson's contract for a 2nd round pick was better than I hoped.
Bogosian is an upgrade from Schenn.
Elliot is an upgrade from McElBackup.
And I can't wait to see our new top pair of Sustr-Seabrook patrolling the blue line.

Yeah I thought it could have been much worse as well. Depth is gone. Third line gone.
Elliot an upgrade on Mac, and Elliot will be playing behind a better top 4 D, so he should be better than the mess he was in Phillie.
