Yes, but it wasn't much of a charm in the season.

I don't expect it to change that much tbh

honestly, with Weber so badly injured, I don't see much of a difference between last season Weber-Chiarot and next year Savard-Chiarot.
Savard is a top4 dman, no doubt. he played 3rd pair in TB, but a lot of minutes in CLB.

The problem is that they'll have 3 defensemen that are basically the same player. They need complementarity a bit, imo. They really struggled last year in their ability to stop the cycle and counter-attack. They need defensemen that are better skaters.

Unlike Chairot and Edmundson Savard is a quality puck mover and skater like I said if he can find his form from CLB it's a good signing and provides relief for Petry

I heard NYR trying to move Strome, would be a good replacement for Danault

I'll admit I haven't seen much of his play, but offensively speaking he seems like a notable drop off from even an injured Weber. I wouldn't mind if he was on the bottom paring with Romanov, but I'd rather they'd try and acquire somebody like Vince Dunn to play with Chiarot.

I hope so and too and that he doesn't turn out like Alzner. I'd say the contract is at least 4.5 to 5 million to sign him fresh off a cup win.

If we can get the Savard from CLB then it's a good pickup, I think Wideman will be 7th dman and will come in with injuries. Paquette adds grit to our 3rd/4th line

I think he's saying Savard that played like he did in CLB vs Tampa.

And one last thing on Phil.

If gets a better payday, I’m happy for him.

6 goals playing top line minutes.

Moving Suzuki into that same role, he probably won’t be as defensive, but he will be more offensive..

Still waitin for Bernie to come up with some cash, eyeing a much bigger boat to catch swordfish. Seasons ends in Oct but He's doing a lot of house painting in NYC if you know what I mean.

Oh for sure, painting houses is pretty lucrative.

He’ll have that boat in no time.

Our boat. He always comes back jittery and skittish from painting, so it may be detrimental to have Him come right on the boat. Or maybe just chain him up under deck for a few days and feed him liquor and oxys.

Oh, you will. TB was scratching a times early in the POs and Jan Ruutta was playing above him.

Savard is toast.
