Might as well. As we’ve read, the locker room is torn between the Giroux camp and the Hayes camp.

I'm not a yandle fan, but after seeing Meyers struggle so much last year, and not having a backup plan. I think this is a good low cost pickup.
If we were counting on York and he struggled like Meyers, it would almost erase all the other good stuff Chuck has done.

I’m fine with moving sandy for the right price. York gonna fill that spot anyways especially if risto re signed.

Like I said last few days what is done with cap % for the d Corp if risto re ups?

If sandy moved that frees up $ depending on the return

I think Fletcher is done with the defense revamp for this season.

But that just makes him a regular UFA right? From the reports it sounded like he's already talked to a bunch of teams. Pretty sus.

Might as well give Hayes the "C" as all of his buddies are coming to town

I don’t think anyone is…which is awesome. Best fit, deepest defense since I have been a Flyers fan.

Printed no where, it’s thru the grapevine from people within the org. Upsetting because it’s a tension I didn’t see coming and really makes no sense

If Yandle is still on that ironman streak, no way he's coming here to be the 6/7yh option. I'm sure he got assurances that he is in the line up every night. Yandle/Braun-Morin as 3rd pair? Not bad.

Frankly I don’t like Sanheim. But I do see his value. Guys like to talk about “over paying”….any increase in Sanheims salary is to me an over pay. I still hope he can show more consistently in the future as he gets older. Then maybe I’d come around.
Maybe the Flyers don’t see Sanheim as being worth 4.5-5 million today…maybe they move him in another deal….but I will say that if they do move him, it’s gotta be for a goal scoring forward of similar age. Just because I’m not a fan doesn’t mean I don’t see his ceiling as being high.

Low cost, short term low risk as LD3. Still can play on a PP. Takes the pressure off York to jump right to NHL, allows him to get 1st pair mins in LV to open season. The NTC protects him from being dealt somewhere he doesn't want to go.

Like the Yandle move.. someone else is really paying his salary...900k is a drop in the bucket for someone with experience and skill...better than a Hal Gill type..

Tomorrow the bigger 1B goalie deal gets done and a depth forward to help out the YUTS!

Hey MBFlyerfan gonna drop you a PM about music..

All I was told was that the locker room was split in two camps or cliques if you will last season - G and Hayes (I have no idea who’s on what side or any details on what has them at odds but there was a rift between them).

When I was told that i said wow really, how am I supposed to watch this game knowing all that? They told me try working for them and knowing all that.

In my opinion they aren't signing Yandle not to play him. He still moves the puck well and can still man the PP. The coach is going to play the veteran. My objection is not towards Yandle as a player.
- MJL

I'm guessing Yandle is going to play every game for Philly. Why? They signed him cheap, so there's likely an agreement to let him get his iron-man-streak record in 42 more games. I don't see him signing a contract without some assurance of getting the record.

Interesting, very interesting. Anyone could tell you last year no one looked happy with all the losing, but they seemed friendly year 1. There was that video of Giroux and Hayes having a face off contest this year lol I wonder if Giroux was making his stand there
