Would be better suited to have him and Rasmus in practice at same time so Morin can learn the tricks from another big man...it may help him refine his game so he becomes an everyday 5/6....not a platoon guy.

I think Yandle is a great signing. It will keep them all honest, including Yandle. Add in 1 year at that cap hit and yeah good play by Fletch to some cheap insurance in multiple areas of the D

Never ending discussion, his durability and production has been incredible. The shot is one of a kind, I’d say top 10. Top 5 is crazy, just top of my head going old school Gretzky Mario Orr , is he in the two after that, idk. Crosby has to be over him too.

Like this move as well. It’s a perfect situation for York. Let him develop properly. If he shows he is ready I’m sure he will get games this year with the big club. Some people saying he is ready now. After a cup of coffee in the NHL are delusional. Flyers are going for it. No need to throw a 20 year old to the wolves. Fletcher imo is trying his best to put the puzzle together. Let’s hope it works. Even if it doesn’t I will applaud all these moves.

The key to this season is Health, Hart returning to form, Hayes and Tk return to form. Sanheim needs to progress. Someone needs to sit Hayes down and show him film on Primeau 2004 playoff performance. This is what Hayes can and should be. He has all the tools.

Agreed. Doesn’t look like the signing of a guy who has nothing left in the tank

Fletcher has added some nice assets. Now AV has the challenge of meshing those new skill sets and personalities into the team and systems structure. Adding 3 puck moving D men should significantly upgrade their transition game.

I’m really hoping Sanheim is with Ellis and Provorov is with Ristolainen. My belief is Sanheim needs to elevate his game and I think Ellis can help him. Ristolainen is a guy that myself and others believed and voiced a few times this season would be perfect for Provorov as a partner.

i see your logic, but i think maxing out Provorov and having a period plus worth of top end blue line play might be worth keeping Ellis and him together.
