He signed last year for 2 years. So did Delia and Subban.

Stan has his #1 D and now a #1 netminder. Have to think the team will be better next year??

Stan trades him to Seattle for a #1 50% retained.

The last 3 years under Stan remind me of a young driver trying to learn how to drive a stick shift. Lots of jerky driving.

He's gone from trying to keep the core together and make another run to going young and developing the kids to trading kids and draft choices to acquire assets.

Hope it works out for him, but I'm getting whiplash while he figures it out.

Vegas had major cap issues this year, especially if they want to add something later in the year. In the cap world, that calls for giving up assets - look what Florida had to give the Hawks to take Connelly at $3.3 million. Not only do the Hawks not ask Vegas to eat salary, they also don't ask for a single asset to take on this liability.

MAF is not playing in front of the Knights if the does play in Chicago. He is playing in the Colliton defensive system with a patchwork team in front of him and no guarantees.

Just WTF.....what is coming next?

Did not surrender anyone who was going to be on our team. Questionable future for "Hanky" since he needs to receive plaYing time in AHL. If Fleury plays I think having quality players like Toews, Jones and Fleury ll draw attention to Colliton system and the coaching particularly of young players. Spotlight on Bowman and his choosen coach. Either young dmen and forwards work together in moving puck out of their own end, or Colliton is fired. To even become a bubble playoff team, we needed a big tough dman
We got him, although the stiff price is what it takes. Without a Jones you will never win with Boqvist or Jokiharju. Believe it or not, I think Bowman still wants to and will be bringing in kids. No #1 but maybe Wise surprises. Borgstrom, Reichel.

The next step really is not just infuse youth, but play right way and top. line players who cycle puck too

If Fleury stays, Hagel stays in Rockford for 1 regular season game. Then amazingly gets a new contract after Shaw and Seabrook are placed on LTIR. Money will work once that occurs.

the addition of the 2 players can't hurt but we are far from 2 players away. its also the cost of the trades. the giving up of a first in the Wright draft or even worse it bumps to 23 and the Bedard draft is poor asset management. not qualifiying Suter and now not getting a sweetern and helping out vegas. just really ood moves.

Also, can be 10% over the cap in the summer, just have to be under once season gets underway.

They trade the rights to all 4 for Lehner. Stan only does goalie trades with Vegas.

Stan knows he’s going to get axed, so he makes a great deal for Vegas so that they can get him a job after his termination. Probably as a blackjack dealer at Mandalay Bay Casino.

Sounds like Stan is keeping him.

I would expect multiple other moves to be made. Zadorov? DeHaan? Strome? Suter? Connolly? Subban/Delia? Others?

Now that they are apparently in a win now mode, I would not be surprised if Colliton has a short time in season to show some results (ala Denis Savard). If they don’t get off to a good start, look for a more experienced head coach to be brought in.
