Benning is filling out the Abby roster pretty well Phillip Di Giuseppe is a solid AHLer.

Ive been hearing all day he's set to return and a deal is close - he's still a great player despite his age and injuries
- Brooks_Light

Fair enough, I'm just making the assumption as they need to sign rask still

At that cap hit, and after getting all situations OEL, absolutely.

They had enough room to add a big fish but it's okay filling out depth. I don't think they're done yet. Could add a bargain contract like they did with last year with Hamonic.

I could see EP 3/7m Hughes 6/7m Dlckinson 3/2m & leaves 2.8m to cover bonuses or get a LHD.

You and nucker need to get together and have one big temper tantrum to get it out of your system. People are allowed to disagree with you slurpers without it being whining.

We needed the depth, as we all know the Canucks history with injuries. I agree as well, keep some powder dry for the following days and the diamond in the rough that misses the 1st day FA boat.

So nice not to see the deadbeat names of last season on that roster.
Wish we didn't spend as much as we did on Pearson, but still no terrible deals in the forward group overall.
Joe Levi is an issue though. he needs to play, but I don't think he cracks the lineup with out injuries, and he won't clear waivers IMO. So does Bone take the hit since he can clear?

Holy schmoley.

It just took me 1,800 words to provide a snapshot of everything the Canucks have done in the last 48 hours.

Lots of details still to come. I don't envy the PR staff, having to set up all the Zoom calls for the new players!

It's like we have a whole new team. New blog is up now:

I think Bones & OJ will platoon with whoever is doing well play more. Keeps them insulated & fresh. Need 8 D to cover possibilities anyways.

I'm not a Slurper or a Hater,
But IMO, JB has done just about as good as he could fixing his errors and remaking the team as anyone could expect. Especially in such a short timeframe.
Need to play the games, but hand clap is in order to JB for at least making things more interesting.
