I agree, system needs to better and the forwards need to be better. D just needs to be stable, low event, and good at exiting the D zone. They have also addeds some depth pieces for the AHL.

Poolman is an NCAA guy so hopefully his development is just peaking.

The team has turn the cap space occupied by a bunch of fourth liners and a backup G into a top four d man, a top six winger, and two plus RHD men...can't complain about that.

That's pretty aggressive change. Since TDL to UFA period team is more tough, quick and gone are the flakes. Halak is better too as backup.

Hes pretty young. It'd hard for these prospects to make the team out of the draft. I'd like to see what he's got, but would rather him develop properly in the AHL if needed. Don't want him to make the team due to lack of competition

The team has OEL, Hughes, Myers and maybe Rathbone, they need some solid guys like Poolman, Hamonic and Schenn.
