As sad as it is, there's a very real possibility we're sellars next deadline. We basically need Danault to resign and Hamilton to sign too just to have a pretty good team. If we had those two, I think we got could get by without the 6th D and top line LW upgrade, but ideally we need a player like Hoffman too if Bergevin plans on another run with Price. I think Romanov-Kulak/Wideman is fine on the bottom pairing. All of the other D options besides Hamilton are very mediocre for the Habs situation imo.

Brutal but I agree...beats the poop out of the alternative. How often do you go back? Every 5 years?
- Takemedrunkimhome

Every 6 months for first 5 years, then once a year.

Johansen is toast, Duchene had some kind of a spark in the playoffs.

Not a fan of both but MTL was front runner for signing Duchene, and he wasn't protected by Nashville, I think this is very possible even without giving KK

- Not_Yan

Johansen is beter 2-way, would replace Danault is in his role and who knows he might bounce back, great carreer playoff numbers.

Well another rumor.

Habs could be on Carson Soucy. 6’5, 215lbs, LD (Romanov moved to RD?)

Guy is from Viking, Alberta.
Just because of Viking, this sound awesome

He is. Seattle has 12 D. They need to clear some else they’ll be stock with a bunch after UFA day
