There is a team willing to give him $9M

honestly i see Danaul as a perfect fit in Colorado. he will come in cheaper and provide them something they were clearly missing against Vegas.

I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if MB leads one of those teams

they don't need a LW has much as people think they do. They need a 2nd C (suzuki is your 1C) or someone to help KK and Evans. Paquette may happen.

and if he does fine. i want to see him either do something significant or stay put. like if all he does is sign David Savard for $5 million and bring in Cedric Paquette and Chris Wideman... what the hell is the point?

i also added a drop of half & half but i still call it a BAFC for continuity and so that mr.peanut will still be my friend.

That's starting to seem more likely.

But I still believe he stays in Montreal

Have a hot start, crumble around christmass, try to sneak in the playoffs with the 8th spot and hope from a miracle from your goalies?

I'm not advocating the move. I'm saying I could easily see MB offering 7 years @ $9m ish

Is Wideman a top 4 d or just the 6th d?

it's just a drop when the coffee seems too undrinkable. it helps cut the burnt popcorn taste.

I can agree with this. Rather nothing than half assed moves and square pegging round holes

7th or 8th with a shot in camp to earn #6 I'd guess

there's nobody on the right side. I think his chances are better than that.

I guess Kulak can play on his offside, but they might still be looking for a 6th d pp specialist.

If you're counting on him as a top 4 option the Habs should write the season off now. Wideman has played 41 NHL games since 16/17. Even penciling him in on the 3rd pair is questionable

I think that's the plan. That and Savard.
