For the inevitable post of "why weren't the Sabres in on MAF? ", word is that he may not report to Chicago.

Is this accurate? I would imagine a player like him would have some sort of say in the matter? ie. modified NTC ?

If you don’t get value he can play here for 5 more years

Y’all motherf’s gunna complain no matter what happens

- Keepcomplaining

just so you all are clear, I DO NOT want to trade Jack Eichel for anything short of the Stars and Moon and Universe.

I also agree that if we don't get the right return we should make Eichel Stay. Sadly I don't get the feeling we will do that.

Which Christian are you talking about? The ones of the Crusades? Or the church that just gave Michael Flynn an AR 15?
- Michael Pachla

Funny how things like that don't bother some people.
They are told it's fine. He's with the former guy, so any and everything he does is worshiped. Sheep.

He should be court marshalled

*actually not funny

Doesn’t look like Adams wants to move him for garbage. 50/50 he’s here by start of the season. My guess is he plays a few games shows he’s got it and gets traded instantly.

You have to be under the cap when the season starts.

LTIR kicks in after.

At least that’s how it used to work.

I have no idea - other than a guy I work with is a huge Hawks fan and said they have $594K to work with - but I am sure he doesnt know how it works.

You can go over by 10% in the off-season but have to be cap compliant on day one.

Stephenson has to be in there for cap reasons.
- bluengold12

They still have time to figure that part out, don't have to be under the cap until the season starts, already taking cap with Tuch and Holden.

Fair enough - I meant Shaw and Seabrook not Saad...

plenty of time to wheel and deal.

According to my buddy - so I take no ownership of the accuracy:

The 594K includes the 6.875 for Seabrook and 3.9 for Shaw. So once the LTIR goes into effect, the hawks will have 10.775 available.

One thing to watch here: there were rumblings Marc-Andre Fleury might choose to retire if traded from Vegas — for family reasons. Not certain how it will all play out.

Eichel goes to Vegas not interested in Tuch he is 25 and doesn't really suit the timeline other than flipping him for other prospects.

Can’t have a full team of 18 year olds. Tuch would be a fine addition

Why wouldn't he have a Kraken jersey? They took the player he wanted the Sabres to take 1OA - Matty "Toews 2.0" Beniers.
- RichardRoma

Well, he wanted Beniers to be drafted by the Sabres... So are you telling me there isn't another NHL player (or, like Gerbs, a prospect) that you like?

Pick the letter of the trade you like the best and why

Bonus, pick the letter of the trade you like the least and why too!

- bluengold12

Trade E....I believe Krebs will be solid and it provides other relevant assets.
Trade B is right behind it...I like Rossi alot

Worst - the one with Monahan, slow and in decline e, might be hard to flip him for anything great.

Too complicated, just give me Rossi and Boldy or Zegras and Drysdale. Give me two top 50 prospects in the league and be done with it. I don't need any other junk.
