He is Better than Hutton too. We have some decent goalie prospects and aren’t supposed to be a contender for a few.

It’s a shame there’s 0 chance it would happen but overpaying Ryan Suter for 3 years would be huge for Dahlin, Power, Samuelsson etc.

I think there is a chance that they could be excited. Team gives up on them. Buffalo puts them in a more prominent role. Gives them a chance to show they still have it and deserve another contract

For goaltending, I'd sign Ullmark. Say $5M per for 3 years.

Take on Holtby's cap for 1 season to gain an additional asset from Vancouver.

I'd take Fleury back (in a trade for Eichel perhaps), and then trade Fleury while retaining 50% to the team he wants to go to (likely Pitt).

I am pretty much okay if they manage to an internal cap this season. Theyve been pissing away uncle Terry's money for years now and have crippled the franchise with stupid contracts.

He really isn’t that good and always hurt. He is a good back up but with the injuries I don’t know what to say. If he wasn’t in the goalie deprived region of New York he would probably be a 2-3 mil goalie.

Agreed which is why I said 3 would be perfect. In reality everything goes well he’s your 3rd pairing vet to Power and Dahlin in year 3.

I’m hoping someday soon those guys become options because a lot of the good Pitt/Chi/LA cup teams had some old stars who paced themselves during the regular season and always stepped it up in the playoffs
