I read recently that over 120,000 children in the US now have one parent instead of two due to covid. I think it was in USA Today, not exactly a liberal rag.

And not to mention the folks who got it, survived, but will have lifelong problems as a result, many of whom will require medical care forever or not be able to work or do what they used to like, or require someone to assist them. Those do not show up on stat sheets, either.
