agreed. which is why a "Weber and Eichel on LTIR until the playoffs" storyline would be absolutely wonderful.

Price too. Habs had used the savings to sign Hamilton, Danault, Hoffman and thus had a strong enough team to get to the playoffs with a Allen-Primeau tandem. When the playoffs started we had
Hoffman-Eichel-Anderson
Toffoli-Suzuki-Caufield
Drouin-Danault-Gallagher
Byron-Evans-Perry
Chairot-Hamilton
ED-Petry
Kulak-Weber
Price-Allen.
Habs went on to win the cup, cap for next year be damned.

sweeeeeet

although I'm not so sure about Primeau at 21 being able to be Allen's backup or to share the net with him 50/50 at the NHL level.

We were good enough otherwise to get into the first wild card spot.

Highly unlikely we score Eichel,Hamilton keep Suzuki, Caufield and resign Danault. Oh I forgot we also win the Hoffman bid. Keep dreaming big love it.

Cayden played a grand total of 20 games in 2020-21, 16 with the Rocket and 4 with the habs. those are very poopty circumstances for a young goalie trying to develop his skills, but surely he continued his training and learned a thing or 2 along the way despite not playing.

Introduced my kids to Snatch (THE GUY RITCHIE FILM) tonight... They finally understand half of the movie I tend to quote. Damn the dialogue in that movie was brilliant...

This is only the start of trade/UFA day. Team could be different abit. Maybe Evans takes 3rd line? We will see.

Lots of sources also saying David Savard will sign in MTL. I don’t know terms and money. With Danault gone, they are bringing back some frenchies.

Quebec journalists really went all-in with this one. Must've been happy to have something to talk about other than COVID.
