He’s at his lowest value since entering the league.

Sell high and buy low.

Perfect incentive for him to play his way out of the organization, not whine his way out. And by this time next year, I’m sure Ranger fans will be eating their “so n so” is off the table trade speculations.

Or… he stays, which is great now that he doesn’t have the likes of Reinhart, Risto or Kane around to poison the pool. I don’t hear wonderful thing about him internally but he’s young and maybe he can start being a better leader with this fresh new start.

I don't believe he is whining. I mean it's his body, if he does not feel comfortable with the advice he is given its well within his right to to get another opinion. I believe the Sabres are more concerned with patching him up then doing it right.

No team in hell is going to take Eikel after all his whining and complaining. He is out there practicing and doesn't even tell management where he is. Who the f is going to want some spoiled brat like that. The team turned to crap when he started because everyone told him he was a franchise player at too young of an age. He is no Gretzky or McDavid, that is why he was a number two pick. To make 10 million dollars a year to play a sport you love is ridiculous anyway and then to complain about it is utterly ridiculous. He will be with the team until his contract expires unless they give him away.

I love the Sabres. I'd ask out if I was Eichel, Reinhart or Ristolainen. They can't be blamed for wanting out of this mess.

Agreed. But Adams hit a home run in the Risto Risto deal so he showed that he won't be taken advantage of. I hope he can get some good value back for Eichel. I'm not a Sabres fan but I'd like to see them do well. The fans deserve better.

He's skating and training, even Fish came out and said this and added he is feeling good. Sabres don't have to trade him right know, and when he proves he's healthy the price only goes up.

If Jack ends up playing for the Sabres for any stretch next year, the spiteful person in me would love to see them rip the C off his shirt. Lord knows he doesn't deserve to wear it.

Jack like everyone else is frustrated. He hasn’t seen playoffs in his career. If you don’t get a mountain, build around him again. Grab a couple tough guys so they don’t take pot shots at our guys and we will be competitive

Last I heard it was the equivalent of 6 first round picks. I don't know if anything has changed since. Sabres fans would know more than me.

No surprise here! Eichel Isn't even the best player In the league, Probably not even In the top 5, And add the mysterious Injury to that. It sounds like the Sabres management Is trying to avoid a decade's long rebuild by asking a kings ransom for a quick turnaround.

The Blues should give two 1st rounders, Robert Thomas, Dakota Jackson, Mikkola, a 3rd rounder, a 2nd rounder, for Eichal, and a mid tier defenseman prospect.
