Hopefully the Kraken wins the season series against the Canucks.

It's all bad asset management. That's the point.

Impressive?
Fast?

When someone picks up and bags their dog’s poop do you walk over to them and say “impressive AND fast”?

That’s all that JB did… he cleaned up his own poop. And it took him years to do it.

You would be surprised how many people in here wanted Jake signed for the money he got and wanted Toffoli to go because he was too slow.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing.

Yet here we are today, a huge underdog to be competitive.

Do you have any doubt in your mind that Bergevin is already on the phone to sign Virtanen?

It's all hindsight that Jim traded McCann + for Gudbranson. Then had to spend a 3rd round pick to get another 3lc. When he could have had one already.

Yes pretty much true to a point, there were some here that wanted the exact opposite though.

Canucks looked like MTL playing TB in the finals, not in the same league

maybe it works out for Montreal. If you have zero moral centre then you might be able to find decent NHL talent at low cost because no one else will touch them.

Maybe good guys do finish last?

I guess Montreal gets absolutely no credit for being in the final. Great run, beat some really good teams but trash team just like the Canucks..

I am still pissed that Canucks didn't draft a RHD with the 743 pick OA yesterday .

I guess Benning was busy wondering how he could let a third line center that has been with 5 different teams in 6 years slip through his hands

Amazing what good goaltending can do. It’s an illusion, a cheap trick that fools fans, media, players, coaches, managers, and owners to believe in something that doesn’t actually exist.

I’m curious to see if Montreal can sustain success next season or if they will regress much like the Canucks did after their improbable playoff run.

The bookmakers seem to favor the Kraken who haven't played a NHL game over the Canucks.

A dose of reality folks.

Of course I’m very pleased that the Canucks have been to the final a few times, it was heartbreaking that they ended up losing but yes I am happy.

You trying to imply that there is only one good team and 31 crap teams.
