Give him some pointers on how to do it lol.
- Bettmanhatesus

He doesn't seem to be the type of guy to listen to others. He might have seen a whole lot of people telling him not to do it then

#18 Danila Klimovich might not make it to North America. Thanks to
@statman1956
for pointing out he started a tryout with Dinamo Minsk (KHL) this morning in their preseason opener.

Only 1 G and 1 A in his pro debut

The kid is a good pick.
As much as I wanted a defenseman, this kid is a nice player.
Got to watch him in a few games over the last couple seasons, a better Podkolzin, IMO
The kid reminded me of Owen Nolan.

From the videos I seen he reminded me of PODs with better hands and a better shot.

"A public list doesn't know what we know. That's the reality and I know what the reality is. I live in the reality," says Mann. #Sens

Patrick Bacon
@TopDownHockey
Ottawa Senators Chief Scout Trent Mann is probably correct that he “knows” more than public lists. Even a penny-pinching NHL team like the Senators have invested more resources into gathering info than public scouts.

But that doesn’t mean they’re weighing that info correctly...

Oh analytics guy. Mann is probably saying if you could interpret what you are watching, you would see what he sees.

He looks a little mean

I can't say I remember watching Jersey this season. Is he going to be a copycat of his countrymen?

Why did I expect that bs from you? Ron Delorme has been with the scouting staff for 37 years and has been involved in a lot of the new shiny players including Elias, Hughes, Podkolzin, and some of the previous guys like the Sedins and Kesler, Bieksa etc.
Please stop with your bs Kaptaan.

- Reubenkincade

I've hated Delorme since Gillis was the GM. That was finally when the scouting started getting an overhaul.

Delorme wasn't part of anything. I think it's all bs giving Delorme credit. Canucks drafting was poop for years until Gillis started the process of making a change.

If he doesn't have an agreement with a CHL club or a KHL club, he can play for Utica.
That is another slippery slope though, because he either signs with Canucks on an NHL deal, or he signs on a AHL deal.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. As far as I'm concerned BC should be given in its entirety to the first nations. Then they can decide whether to let anyone stay on their land, and what the terms are.

From Wheeler on draft day two rankings:

13. Vancouver Canucks
Day 1 rank: NA (no picks)

Danila Klimovich at 41 was a risk, but one I don’t hate. He slotted at No. 83 on my final board, but the sense heading into the draft was that he’d be a second-rounder because of his goal-scoring punch. He doesn’t just shoot it really hard, he also does a good job getting to his spots so that those chances are coming from high-danger areas. And while he can tunnel-vision for those looks, he’s a fascinating project that could become a top-nine finishing type with the right development.

I think they left some value on the board with their next three picks in Harvard-committed goalie Aku Koskenvuo, Swedish defencemen Jonathan Myrenberg and Hugo Gabrielson. Gabrielson, the last of those players picked, is the only one that was close to making my board, though Myrenberg’s intriguing as a righty with pro size and poise.

Erie forward Connor Lockhart, who didn’t play this year, I like a lot. Especially in the sixth round. He’s a smaller kid but he was a true star growing up and I had one scout tell me earlier in the week that he looked better on tape as a 16-year-old rookie in the OHL than some of the other Ontario kids drafted much higher. On talent level and tenaciousness, he was capable of being a point-per-game player this season had the OHL played.

Lucas Forsell was also a fine roll of the dice late. He’s shown me some flashes and he won’t be 18 until September.

He could have been a mercy hire from day one. I've never understood why they kept him this long.

That you believe you have a right to live on unceded native territory, yet I believe it's native land and they should give you the boot, but I'm the bigot in your mind.

You have zero idea, who I am and where I live, Nor do you have any idea about my life.
Whether I live in unceded territory, or whether you live in the biggest clear-cut in BC, that shouldn't matter, when it ones do addressing the past, the future and the present,.
Let's get it right next time.

Yegor Sharangovich of the New Jersey Devils.

Drafted as a D+1 in 2018. 30 points in 54 games last season for the Devils.

After watching a bit of tape on both, they seem very similar in game aspects.
