I think the Pens could be a good partner for AZ for Kuemper, but I think other teams will offer more for Dvorak. - Rinosaur
I do agree. With the trades I have seen the past few days I don't rule out a Kuemper, Dvorak and Crouse for Zucker, Pettersson and DeSmith type trade. I do believe Dvorak may go for a bit due to being a center. |

Since the NHL isn’t exactly a meritocracy you can never rule out GMs making complete head scratchers. We can hash out what we think guys’ values are on here as much as we want but at the end of the day we really have no idea what someone might value a mediocre player at. Makes for interesting headlines, for sure. |

The Fan writer quoted Rossi saying that he thinks the Pens could be looking at John Gibson. - Doogs
I have hard time figuring out how that would happen and really digging into to his recent numbers, I don't know if the Pens should give a haul for Gibson. I'd still rather Lehner or Kuemper.

Actually, Fletcher is trying to fix the mess that Hextall left behind. And he actually used assets that haven’t proved anything yet in Myers and Patrick. True if those two become anything close to their potential it would be good for their respective teams. And what did we give up for Ristolienen? An at best 6/7th defenseman and a draft pick in a draft that no one knew for sure what to make of this years draft for a big right handed compliment to Sanheim. And some other picks that we can trade other guys in the future if we need picks. And as for Voracek for Atkinson, it addresses a need for a little more speed up front and a guy who can play on special teams for a guy in Voracek who hasn’t helped us get any deeper than the second round of the playoffs. |

I'm with you on this. He is signed for a good bit longer and two seasons barely over .900 scare me. If Kuemper doesn't work he walks as a UFA. Lehner would be a nice addition, but I'm not so sure Vegas is looking to move a goalie. |

They have a young goalie prospect who’s close to making the jump. Flipping Jarry for Lehner gives them another year of Fleury with Jarry as a stop-gap. |

Remember back in the day in high school when a sexually active couple would break up and the dude would tell everyone who would listen exactly what the girl did, what she looked like naked and describe every sorted detail of their sexual history. Or a guy would hookup with a girl at a party and tell a few of his friends and the story about it would go viral?
And the girl's reputation would be ruined?
Because unsurprisingly that was not, and still is not a crime, yet a 10 second snap pic is viewed in a totally different light. We should probably get a lot more pitchforks - TheGame316

Should he just be sentenced to death then? I just don’t see how a dumb decision like that can ruin a kids life forever |

There needs to be some kind of middle ground between "faces no consequences" and "ruin his life forever" |

When it comes to sport athletes, they’re separated in 2 groups. The spoiled brat untouchable star group headed by Kobe, LeBron, Kane’s, (Ray) Lewis, etc. and the do one thing wrong and your crucified group headed my draftee Mallioux, Kaepernick (regardless what people think of him it’s along the same lines as LeBron and his crap), and others, had more for this part but brain freeze lol. Hence I’ll never full support any athlete for anything but just cheer my hometown teams as it’s just what it is. Remember the phrase, “Kids will be kids,” well it seems to be gone away for this new generation of kids. But us as an older generation, we’re given breaks on stupid stuff as well! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT PERSON! If you say you are your stuck in denial and need help!!!! Give the kid a chance to learn from his mistake. Why not from an organization with money to help him along than a kid working for scraps just to get by in hopes of making it to his dream! Rather see someone get support than none at all and have another kid lost to the streets of chaos! |

That's awesome. It would be great if he eventually cracks the lineup. Hopefully he becomes a prospect to talk about in the future - 123Kid
One thing I noticed about the draft picks is aside from Broz (who I think is 6’) they are all 6’2” or bigger. And mostly left shots lol |

Seriously, what’s the knock on this guy to fall so much in the draft. He obviously has a lot of skill. Cool name too: TANKOV 😎 - Barnaby36

Why can't the Pens sit Malkin all year and bring him back in the playoffs? |

Would be great if he could eventually make the team but while his puck skills are impressive, good luck pulling those moves in North American hockey. Looked like he was playing beer league hockey. |
