How come the nhl nbc espn love skipping over dahlin being drafted first overall. They did it during the lottery too

Maybe the sabres ruined the offensive development of Girgensons by putting him in the AHL then rushing him to the NHL?

Also Girgensons had 2 goals no assists for a total of 2 points at the WJC
Cozens lead the team in scoring with 16 points and 8 goals.

Cozens offensive skill is not comparable to Girgensons.

I'll stand by it. A few years down the road we'll see if he's more like Girgensons (your take) or Scheifele (mine)

At 33 I think KA takes a player we could get at 53. If he picks somebody who’s fallen i think it’s Stank or maybe pinelli. Both are centers who like getting in the dirty areas. Sabres have had 12 hours to figure this pick out - don’t f&ck it up KA.

Absolutely agree. Hes shown more leadership in his rookie year than Jack has over his entire career. Cozens will be wearing the C someday for sure.

Ugh. I'm going to have to come to terms that the return on Sam isn't going to be good. Or shame on me for expecting more?

Age and development curve are two different things. Cozens played in the CHL and Girgensons USHL. USHL is no where comparable to the CHL.

Girgensons wanted to go to college and the sabres talked him out of it. Girgensons was very raw when he was drafted.

I really like cozens alot. Seems like a blue collar, try hard guy with some scoring touch.
