It kills me, but I can't support this anymore. This is supposed to be fun. Everyone has their breaking point, and I've met mine, provided they don't get a legit 1C in return, and I'm not holding my breath. I want nothing more than to be wrong about it, and I will make "I was wrong" as my location if it does happen.

I think the only reason I stayed a Bills fan was because they never had a superstar during the drought, so I never expected much. But you absolutely can not trade a superstar like Eichel for spare parts, you just can't do it. You might get lucky like Boston did when they got rid of Thornton and Seguin, but they're the exception that proves the rule.

Never said ownership wasn't a mess, and it isn't about money, it's about honoring something you signed and agreed too. Eichel isn't the first athlete that has been on bad teams.

Botterill was epically bad but if you take Reinhart at fade value this current GM signed him to a 1 year deal too.

See, this is why I am not the most popular person in the Toxic Sabres Twitter because I think the players should be held accountable too. They are not infallible and I am so sick of hearing everyone just suck them off repeatedly like they have never had any heroes in their lives or something and they are led by the lame website and podcast, WGR media who help guide them along in their thoughts.

Yes, the Pegulas have tossed good money after bad, had at one time one of if not the largest scouting depts in the league but they just could not hire a GM to save their lives who then could not hire a coach. But, the players are the ones who fly the chartered flights, get the paychecks and are on the ice so they have SOME accountability too. I don't remember the Bills 2-14 years ever it all falling on Ralph, some but not all.
