McDavid and Matthews and Marner aren't getting it done either. But they have a small supporting cast. You need a big supporting cast.

We gave our star player crap to work with and this is what we get.

You all won't be surprised to find I hate the Reinhart trade... Listening to his comments, sounds like he wanted to sign here long term last couple of years but the moronic GM's of Buffalo's past (frank)ed that up.

In the end, we traded a perennial 20 goal scorer who was 11th in goals last year, who we tanked for and who was finally becoming elite as a center in Donny's system

For....

A 19 year old goalie who is barely 6ft tall, has played for some team called the Carleton Place Canadians... He did play well in the world juniors, a lot of players have done so and sucked. Goalie is such a crap shoot.. If you're going to trade for a goalie prospect, get one that has a little more seasoning under his belt. Not one who is going to Northeastern state...

Reinhart should require a teams 3rd or 4th best prospect. I get he was an RFA, but it sounds like he's eager for a fresh start and will sign a longer deal... If this was the best Adams could get, he should have convinced Reinhart to stay and tried to flip him at the deadline. I get it's a risky move but this trade is a joke...

At BEST we may see returns from this trade by 2025, that's at best. That will make the Sabres post season drought 14 years long! In a league where half the (frank)ing conference makes the playoffs every year.

I'm expecting Eichel to the Rangers for a 1st, their 4th best prospect and a mid-tier 25 year old player

Kevyn Adam's made 2 good trades of longtime losing players for futures.

Unless we get Rossi +Boldy or Zegras or a player of their level it will be a failure. I can't sit here and listen to this crap anymore, just know, just like the ROR trade before this, this will come back to bite the Sabres in the ass in about a year. See everyone when Eichel leaves...

Eichel is a baby and if we even get Rossi and 1st I will consider it a win.

We will have 3 1sts in next years draft and Dahlin and Power on the back end for the next 10 years.
