Exactly. Weight not my concern for an 18 year old.

How about Ryan Miller? He was 150lbs when we drafted him. He turned out ok I’d say

As long as he has the frame to gain another 15-20 lbs.

Get us a goalie prospect and at least we have something to look forward to.

This team is going to be fun to watch

I know a lot of people have been down on GMKA, that is until Risto trade, but this organization has shifted its axis and I like it.

Stay the course, do what you do, accept only excellence and buy in to the organization.

Hopefully but, except for Power, these guys are all 3 years away, especially the Russians

Loving the draft. Power for defense at 1st and then going after skilled forwards after that.

Love it!

- sabresfan69

They are going to need collective skill after losing Jack

Power was a no-brisket. The next 3 picks we’re definitely high skilled high risk high reward picks. You get half of these right and you’ve hit a home run

Swing for the fences.

If you hit one home run, it will have a massive impact on the franchise.

I completely agree with this.

The most basic rule of thumb for drafting imo is if the player has an offensive pulse.

If they don't have one in the lower levels it isn't likely they'll be able to keep up doing the other things in the higher levels.

I'd rather trade one for s serviceable player for a few years than trade next year's picks for the same thing later in the summer.
