Knowing the Jets, they are looking for 2 PK guys to replace Appleton and Lewis so I hope they go after Wennberg and Granlund. Though my guess is they get Sheahan and Glendening.

Granlund and Wennberg would be amazing.

This is a great suggestion!!!!

I’m being 100% honest

Went on Twitter after I posted and says deal is done 1 year $3.75 million

I’m good with that

Good signing, gives us protection down the middle. If Scheif or PLD are injured, or whatever, got a proven NHL centre to step in. And decent $$$!

And one year deal, hopefully Perfetti will be ready by then - to play W or C.

Yeah its okay, provides some center insurance with no long commitment or a hefty cap hit but it's really looking more and more like they're going to come back with the same lineup, it's not surprising really but still pretty sad to think we're likely going to be watching the exact same team except for Heinola likely being a full time player, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results something something...

If it makes you feel better Boston may “steal” Forbort from us 🤣

Yea, know what you mean here.

To me, the big question is what happens to Andrew Copp. Does he sign long-term, or will he get traded + for an upgrade on the blue-line?

I love Andrew Copp but my gut tells me it is the latter. Wonder if the Jets will add a 2nd line winger that can pop, say, 25 goals?

Apparently Boston very interested in Forbort

He will probably get a 2 year deal I would think at this point.

I won’t miss him

Ultimate, you are always asking for proof on these;

And on another defensive front, the #NHLJets have/had been trying to make a deal for Nate Schmidt but the latter will not waive his modified no-trade clause despite, what I have been told, is several attempts by the Jets.

Of course you are Big D. If the Jets can get him and play a Stanley-Kovacevic bottom pairing, that should meet your necessary average.

I'm surprised that's where he's headed, I thought they'd resign Reilly.

Competition is necessary and now we have some:

Heinola can play right side as well

This will push Stanley/Heinola and Samberg that’s a good thing

Stanley, heinola, Samberg and poolman fighting for final 2 spots. Or is poolman done in Winnipeg?

Maybe start the year with:
JoMo-DeMelo
Stanley-Pionk
Dillon-Heinola

Give Heinola veteran, big presence. But things will get shuffled, due to injury, plaY or whatever.
