I like the Ellis trade, but this was terrible. 8 seasons, not a single one in the +, and you are a non-playoff team pulling these big moves? He looks like Burgervan pulling 3 hail-mary's in hopes of turning the team around. Worked for Burg, but I don't think Chuck will be so lucky. 13th overall picks of the past decade include Nick Suzuki, Spencer Knight, Jake Bean, Jake Vrana, Josh Morrissey. |

Blueline is better today on paper, a big price to pay. This is potentially the year to let the first rounder go when out side the few can’t miss prospects.
Hoping Reinhart being sent over in this deal is to be announced at the draft.

I wish Risto the best. He's a class act and a dirty player at the same time. Two things I admire. For whatever reason the results didn't happen for him in Buffalo, and he was a large part of the worst era of Sabre history.
