I still think they badly need a shoot first player in the top six but maybe they’re banking on Farabee filling that void.

So much for my theory that no players were going to get overpaid this off season. Really? So the Flyers are the only team looking to sign a FA defenseman? Who did you have in mind that would have been better than Risto given the contract the Oleskiak just signed with Seattle? Any FA defenseman is going to get $5M+ per. Risto gets slightly more, and I think is better than the FA defenseman left there to sign in this price range.
