Kings are circling back, Adams said Byfield and the 8th or no deal. - SABRES 89
If Adams gets 8 and Byfield they need to build him into the French Connection statue |

Love it
I think Larry brooks aka drury on twitter is the only one crying about Eichels value |

I have a feeling Sam ends up in LA cause they don’t want to pay up for Eichel but are willing to move 8 for Sam with a lesser prospect |

This is just my two cents but I think they want to trade eichel first. See how it shakes out and possibly offer sam a big contract. |

Here’s how it will go
Ristolainen will have a good start (surprise) and they will be loud as hell
The numbers will say he’s terrible by years end and Philly misses the playoffs but signs him to a huge deal to justify the trade - sbroads24
I like risto, but this is a really good trade for both teams.
I'm really excited actually.
New faces, up next sam....
Hard to defend all of the losing risto's been a part of.
Nice to see his effort gane in game out.
Hope we build this team around some new leaders.
Nice to have dahlin ready to eat up ristos minutes. |

No it (frank)ing is not and you know it. If it had been the 2nd and the player, it would have been a good deal for both teams. That extra 1st rounder was infanticide. |

I have not liked what the Rangers have reportedly offered. Second-tier top prospects? (frank) that. - GilPerreault11
That deal has to start with Lafrinere. If not that then hang up the phone |

If the Sabres somehow keep Eichel and they play the Flyers, it will be hilarious when they put Risto out there against Eichel - Hank Balling
Why would a bottom pairing defenseman be out there vs. Eichel? |

Only issue with that is if teams are offering a top 10 pick for Sam now, and he doesn’t resign, most likely the 2022 pick could be higher in the first round plus the same prospect that the offering team would have moved anyways.
Something to ponder |

Idk the Sabres have been playing a bottom pairing d-man 25 minutes a night for the last 8 years and wonder why they are about to lose Eichel and Reinhart |

It is not a good trade by both teams lol.

I agree and they don't have many that can play in their own end and Joker is not a solid foundation type D in my opinion. He is smallish, inconsistent and how many teams in the final four of the playoffs had small, weak D as foundation pieces in their D?
That D needs an overhaul too. Welcome Owen Power. - GilPerreault11
Good post
I agree with your opinion of joker.
Bet he would have been exposed over risto.
Some on this board , love joker.
Canadian fitz for example
