Belief is Drury won't budge on adding certain players to Eichel deal, so it appears #Sabres working to squeeze other teams (presumably MIN/ANA/LA) for players they prefer over #NYR package.

Clubs with interest offering 1st round picks were informed earlier their pick wasn’t high enough. Picks in the top 20, hence Philly was the right fit.

There really is no way to defend Risto with the stats he has. All there are are excuses.

Philli thinks they just need Risto to be put in the right situation with less minutes I guess. But after paying what they did they must think he is a 1st pair D

Cool, I hope they get what they want for him and that they get another first but I want a top ten for him and Calgary doesn't have that.

Robert Hagg is a very physical defensemen, who takes himself out of plays, and can't pass a puck. He's a 3rd pair D with some PK time. So basically Buffalo found a way to get paid a 1st and 2nd to play Risto in the right spot finally. Oh... and saved 4 million while doing it.
