I would rather keep Eichel than give him up for relatively little. We can't have ANOTHER ROR deal. Not just in terms of optics but the value the Sabres got was terrible.

Berglund retiring really hurt as he was going to be counted on as a 2C. Whether he should have been or not separate discussion. But I think that move had a detrimental impact on TT and CM slotting them where they didn't belong.

It's been talked about that the Sabres love this draft and believe they have more information than others about the players in this draft.
