Risto sucks when he doesnt have a defensive d-man.

He plays with McCabe he plays good.

Find him a partner and they'll dance.

Pair him with other guys that aren't the greatest in their own end he will struggle. He isn't the only Dman that's like that. If I did some research I could find countless Ristos out there.
