By many accounts, Sam is more desirable. I guess it depends on who you ask.

They hang on to Jack and Sam, trade Risto for Farabee, and he scores 40 on Jack's wing next year. Skinner has bounce back year on Krejci's wing, and the Sabres score 301 goals, while giving up 396 with the Ullmark and freshly unretired David Leggio as their tandem.

Jack is not getting traded today .......... if he is. The rumor will be his medical records have been released to a team. So far, none of that has happened besides " He feels good" from his agent

I don't want to appear shallow as I know the great Sabre fans are suffering an extended streak of misfortune. Ottawa and Buffalo have followed similar paths for a long time and I fondly remember some of the great games and playoff matchups.

Next year's draft is setting up to be one of the best in NHL history. If ever there was a time to crash and burn it might be now.

Play the long term. Load up on picks for this year and especially for next year.

Short term, go big, mean and nasty. Make teams pay a price. See if Oglethorrpe wants to come out of retirement.

Next year's draft looks incredible. Not sure if it will be the best in history as only time will tell but it's loaded with incredible talent. I still think the 1988,79 and 97 drafts were all timers. The Sabres will probably get an amazing prospect next year.

It's been talked about that the Sabres love this draft and believe they have more information than others about the players in this draft.

Would seem to be confusing if they don't make at least one trade to pick up at least one extra pick, no?

I went to the Formula 1 grandprix at Silverstone last week, kinda like indycar, which was a lot of fun
