I've said this from the beginning and once traded the surgery issue goes away. Eichel may have wanted to cause the controversy to get traded but he also gave teams a reason to be cautious or he may have been traded by now. Not because he wants out but I think the guy is an immature POS as a person.

Wouldn't it be karma to for him to get traded and end up with a season ending injury early in the season!!!

Well let the day play out, even if they had parameters of trades worked out they probably won't release them until the either the pick comes up or closer to the draft. Who knows maybe someone comes in with a better offer.

He or his agent is (frank)ing stupid to lower his value by being a female dog this offseason. He would have been WAY better off to play this year and then choose where he wanted to go when his NTC became effective. That would guarantee he had input on where he went as well as screwed the Sabres by getting lower draft picks and less leverage in the trade, thereby going to a better team who had to give up less assets to acquire him, as well as limit the Sabres first round picks to those later in the first round - if he really wanted to rub it in our faces.
