He didn’t seem very good on the Hawks…. Seth Jones is trending downward but who knows? He’s 26 and is now the best defender the Hawks have had in years…

We paid $7.5 over ten years ago for Soup and he was not a #1. When the other team has what you want it costs.

My positivity & optimism are still there, because I want to be proven wrong. I fear how this affects the rebuild. First round picks, regardless of where they are picked, are nothing to brush off.

Tunnel vision. He said publicly that they wanted to add a top defenseman, creating pressure on himself to get this pseudo-number 1 by any means necessary. The rebuild be damned.
