We’ll see how good he is without an accomplished partner like he had in Columbus. I’ll be honest I hope you’re right but I’m think Ogi is right on this one. The hawks don’t have much and Jones may make them just good enough to make the playoffs and take them out of contention for higher draft picks.

In reality this year's and next year's firsts are 5 years away. Teuvo took longer to get good than he was a Blackhawk.

I think Stan is on a different time table. There is still room to make more deals. Jones is $4M more the Keith. Seabrook and Shaw more than make up for that. Smith's $4M and Saad's $6M are gone. So is Crawford's $6M. Strome and Zad are another $6M. Some of these players will have to be replaced at similar costs but Stan can pick and choose his spots. Toews $10.5 will be gone if he can't play.
