For 1 yr, Josi but he's 31. Pietro is 29, OEL is 30 and his hit is 8.1. Jones is a late birthday, he'll be 27 in October.

If Boq's concussions were a factor, I can kind of understand. But our first rounders shouldn't be wasted, the same goes for the cap space, on his declining ass.

People are talking like he’s a 35 year old and in his declining years. He’s still a top defenseman. Yeah his play has faults red a bit the couple years but he didn’t forget how to play hockey. There could of been a bunch of factors that went into it. But if he’s in a place he’s happy to be in with his brother...I’m looking forward to it myself!

And Dcat contract is up the same time as Toews and Kane. Can easily shift some of that money to give Dcat a raise. Boqvist is a RFA in 22-23 so what is that 3-4 mil bridge maybe? If he continues to improve?

Agree… Blowman is moving into the echelon of Ken Holland territory… couldn’t have made a dumber trade and for all that money… rather let the kids play and see if they can develop into a top pairing dman——
