Well, they were looking like the second-best team when the week started. Coleman's a good guy to bring in, but they need to make a bigger move than that with their cap space.

California is rebuilding, Arizona just threw in the towel, seattle looks terrible, in Vancouver garlands an improvement but not enough to make up for taking on OEL and Edmonton got worse with the Keith deal + losing Larsson.

Let’s be real here Vegas is the only contender in this division but with at least 3 spots available our counterparts have made it easier for us to make it.

Treliving is incredibly mediocre and if there’s an upgrade there I’m for it but it’s days like these it’s nice to have a GM who’s fallback is sometimes the best move is no move. Also today has served as a reminder that there are some incredibly incompetent people running teams and if we do find ourselves in a search we should be careful what we wish for.

Stan bowman was handed the keys to arguably the best team assembled in the cap era and took a wrecking ball to it year after year has now signed Seth Jones to a contract that would even be way overpaid for the eye test crowd. Yet the guy who is essentially Peter chiarelli with 3 cups instead of 1 managed to fleece ken Holland on the Keith deal.

Don't like the Coronato pick, all the Flames need is another undersized forward. Treliving should be fired. He could've traded the pick for a player that can help now.

Preferred Lucius as he was a C and was projected top 5 to start the year and fell due to injury but cornanto could be a very good fit based on scouting reports.

Only concerns are that it appears he’ll be going to the ncaa a year late based on his birthday I question how much of this past seasons success was based on him being older than the competition. Also him being from New York and going to Harvard has given me Adam fox ptsd lol
