Okay I’ll bite…

He’s stated he’s testing the UFA market next year. So what would change his mind to sign here? Next what is traded & where comes the cap space?

- Nighthawk

You missed the sign and trade part. There's plenty cap space. Vantel's premise 9OA. Add Schmidt and whatever non core player needed prospect/Highmore/Motte etc.

Not sure if you geniuses in here are aware of this, but Seattle has an agreement with Charlotte, to have players assigned to the minors, playing there.
Anyone thinking the Kraken are dumb enough to assign a player to a divisional rivals farm team...I don't know what to say.

It is good that Charlotte has room for 20 new players

He had a decent statistical season last year. I watched Arizona a couple times but I couldn't tell you what his game is like anymore.

He did play 749 minutes with Jacob Chychrun. They seem to have done quite well considering.

Van doesn't really have a 6'2" 210 stud TWD for him to play with though.

Maybe he could help OJ out.

TWD?

That is spending how much more cap to replace 1 D & 1F contract?

I didn’t miss anything other than your math.

Looking at the Florida roster for players in Charlotte, I think they have room for about 10

Just saw a news story on City TV about a Granville fan store selling tons of Kraken gear. Seems Vancouverites are looking for change as “change is coming” didn’t come soon enough. Jakuzzi isn’t alone.

A fair amount of disgruntled Canuck fans, up this way, as well. Most think the worst thing that happened for this team, was the play-in thingy, that led to false hope for management and fans.

It’s going to be interesting to see how seat sales go this coming season. I think it will take a few years before they are back to consistent sell outs again. There is definitely less enthusiasm out there.

Vantel mentioned possibly hearing “fire Benning” chants at Rogers. That would be fascinating.

Yeah, I’ve been a quasi M’s fan since I was little, no World Series. Don’t think the Sonics ever won. Sounders?

I guess Seahawks finally busted the Seattle nut.

I don’t like to ever advocate for firing someone, unless you (as the owner/manager) have done everything in your power to support them towards success. So I would never chant in a full arena. But there has to be something we’re missing between FA and Jim because he really hasn’t done a good job. Unless the public perception of what the expectations are and the ownership expectations are very different.
