Love what AZ doing with a proper rebuild

Whatever narrative is out there about #Yotes , they are flexing financial muscle in the short term for draft picks.
(all real cash)
Ladd - $8m
Gostisbehere - $6.5m
Eriksson - $4m
Beagle - $2.2m
Roussel - $1.9m
Tot: $22.6m
For a 1st (No. 9 ov), four 2nds, a 3rd and a 7th. |

Pinelli - Reubenkincade
Since Canucks had no first or second last season don't matter but in 2019 the two highest players I had ranked that were left was at 21 Shane Pinto and 22 Nils Hoglander.
Pinto went to Ottawa 1st or 2nd and Hogz dropped. Both very deserving of a 1st round selection now. |

Fun #Canucks fact: Every time the Canucks have made a trade involving the 9th overall pick, the GM was fired the following season.
Hal Laycoe acquired the 9th overall pick from MTL in 1973. They were fired in 1974.
Jack Gordon traded Cam Neely (who they drafted 9th overall in 1983) in 1986; they were fired in 1987.
Mike Gillis traded Cory Schneider for 9th overall in 2013. They were fired in 2014

Klimovich moves on the first touch and cuts inside on most opponents. He plays his game in between the dots as much as possible, uses teammates, and plays with a hard, and violent energy. - EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide |
