Since Canucks had no first or second last season don't matter but in 2019 the two highest players I had ranked that were left was at 21 Shane Pinto and 22 Nils Hoglander.

Pinto went to Ottawa 1st or 2nd and Hogz dropped. Both very deserving of a 1st round selection now.

Jack Gordon traded Cam Neely (who they drafted 9th overall in 1983) in 1986; they were fired in 1987.

Mike Gillis traded Cory Schneider for 9th overall in 2013. They were fired in 2014
