I don't know how the agreement works with the NA leagues. I just skimmed an article Tony Ferrari wrote on it last year and it was really lengthy and not to the point.
CHL is trying to keep their best players as long as possible. What it pretty much boils down too.
I'm sure there could be some sort of agreement so teams can't abuse the crap out of it. - manvanfan
I think they are making a (temporary) exemption for CHL players who played in the AHL last season to be able to play there again this season. I don’t imagine this is a long term thing. |

The door is open for Mikey but he’d have to be lights out imo. - Nighthawk
Ian Clarke recommended Canucks take a look at him this year

I'm not convinced on Zadorov but like Montour if its reasonable.
I wouldn't mind Vatenan on a buy low candidate. A lot of it depends on whether they can move Schmidt. - belcherbd
Based on what you have seen so far, do you think the Canucks can both upgrade their D and do it reasonably? |

I like that pick - VANTEL
He won't be available when the Canucks pick in the 5th |

I thought my Mac pick at 9 in Jan’s blog was reasonable - Nucker101
Solid in the least. He’s moved up the rankings too much so unlikely now. Too bad. |

Could probably be either LW or RW, Hog is a natural LW - NorthNuck
That too 👍 |

I think he’s rated high in the 2nd. |

If they have been scouting Chase Wouters, maybe he was a side interest to scouting Colton Dach who looks like someone we need. - Shuswap Wap
No 3rd or 4th pick so Dach unlikely to be there. |

Benning did say Seattle have too many Dmen and he would be talking to Frances , but then he did say he would look to Free Agency for two bigger Dmen - VANTEL
Also said trading for D is more likely. Aka UFA D are expensive/term. |

Have you used your rotisserie yet? We've been using ours twice a week. - golfingsince
Yes, twice so far, one herb, garlic, citrus marinated chicken. And one 6lb top sirloin with a minced garlic rub. The roast was phenomenal you could cut the meat with a butter knife.
This weekend is a 5lb Black Forrest Ham with either a honey or brown sugar glaze.
I have my son over excavating the side property so just bbq’d keg burgers for lunch, so good and juicy |

Very underwhelming stats. Know nothing about the kid. Hopefully he isn’t soft - CanuckDon
PIM per game, doesn’t seem soft. Ryan Johnson must see some potential in him |

I don't know anything about him either, I'm just glad they are signing players for the farm team, they have a lot of spots to fill. |

I seen one guy on Twitter that follows the Blades say he has been the best captain in a very long time. He fights he has a few on YouTube |

No.
Only way it happens is by trading the 90A or Boeser, perhaps both and I doubt that will occur. Even if it did, I assume Benning would (frank) it up. |

I scouted him in 18' as a late round pick to which he fell off my board.
Back then, there wasn't much translatable skill. |

I hope they hold fast to their plan instead of caving in to a high$ long term deal for a marginal player.
I’m ok with one more average season and a lottery pick. |
