Garland is a 1st liner. His correct pts per 82 games last year is around 60. At worst he is a great 2nd liner. Kid will be amazing beside Bo.

Despite what people think on how I evaluate this trade.

OEL has wanted out for a while, and the sedins are insanely close with him on a personal level, so hopefully a motivated OEL does help things.
Garland is a fantastic player, reminds me of marchand-lite.

I still 100% would have rather been patient, kept the picks, and waited a year to see LE, virtanen, Beagle and roussel gone, and holtby and Schmidt traded, but here we are.
