It would be shocking if at the very least they didnt try to upgrade at LW. Hyman needs to be replaced with at least someone as good, and Steeves, Andersen, and Robertsen arent the guys to do that.

it's a great signing for the Bruins.. If Marchand and Bergeron ever start showing their age, at least you still have Hall in the lineup

Don’t forget Pastrnak and McAvoy. The team probably has some playoffless years ahead of it (2 or 3 years out) but I don’t see the deep rebuilds some other teams have had to endure in their future. That’s assuming those guys stick around.

Yeah I agree with you. I think it was a great move by the Red Wings, but if the Canes had their mind made up on either going a different direction or that he wasn’t worth that, than what are you going to do?

I don’t get it and I don’t think it’s a wise move by the canes, but maybe they think they’re a higher caliber goalie away from true contention and I don’t think that’s too outlandish. If they indeed go out and acquire that goalie, I’d Imagine Nedeljkovic would require waivers to go to the AHL.

I think they’re both such smart players (you know, aside from the bullsh!t that Marchand pulls), that some of their physical decline could be offset, but yeah it’s coming. Ive been hearing about it for literally 6 years now, though, so I’ve sort of just accepted that it will happen, when it happens. Until then, keep the train rolling.
