Also, Kuemper has arguably had the better 3 year stretch, and only has 1 year left on his deal. If it doesn't work you just walk. I doubt Mrazek signs a 1 year deal.

I read an interview where Walstadt was talking a out wanting to be known for more than just hockey and wanting to start his own website or something...

That type of thing scares GMs off, especially with early picks. When I read that I got the feeling he would drop. GMs want guys to be like Crosby where they are obsessed with hockey.
