I like Travis and hope he continues to grow as a player but this should be a wake up call to hit the weights this summer. To be rag dolled like this by a way smaller player should be motivation to say I can’t let that happen again.

I’m not looking for him to turn into a huge hitter but those battles can’t be lost that easy if you want to be top 4 defenseman on a winning team.

i have been a nag on both sanheim and myers bulking up. well one is gone. i have been a nag on frost adding strength. and he got injured for season from garden variety check. i like what cam york did in the weight room. hopefully he makes the team and a difference this season. if a young single pro hockey player cant build some muscle in off season, then they arent taking their jobs seriously. now some speedsters may be exempt here, but we seem short in that department with our kids.

It's not a reflection on any of these players. It's just the reality of the flat cap -- lot of teams looking to shed salary, not many destinations for that salary to get dumped. You pay for the privilege.

Really like the Ghost trade. Don't mind spending a 2nd & 7th for $4.5M of cap space over the next 2 years. If spent correctly, that can be a contributing piece this season. Or just bank it to have some cap wiggle room down the line after resigning Hart & Sanhiem and a backup.
