This is fair. I just don't understand why the author of that article specifically pointed Hughes out at 8, in an Eichel deal. Then put him as the opposite hand, wrong position. Seemed... unnecessary

Geez Hank, there was no way they were going to leave Rasmus ristolainen unprotected. Sure we lost a kid that I was really starting to like but he's only played 24 games. If Adam did anything wrong it should have been to move Rasmus before the expansion draft. I would have taken the Minnesota or Washington goalie straight up for Rasmus ristolainen. Both teams were willing to lose them for free. Now that we know there were no side deals I'm still scratching my head why Seattle didn't take both and then trade 1 to somebody. But you protect Rasmus because at you get a second or third round pick or at best a late first-rounder. You don't give him away for free to make a point.
