I get that. It was his show (NHL Trade Melt Live or something close to that). He then retweeted that you heard him correctly. followed by nothing is imminent. It's a rumor after all, and someone just asked where it came from.

No I didn't say colluding, but seems odd that other teams can make deals and we just sit here with big trade items and no movement.

He's an RFA, a qualifying offer is a minimum thing that a team with his rights can offer to maintain his rights - it has literally zero to do with what the player wants.
