I think any rumor with St. Louis is laughable. I'd rather keep Sam bit dont see any way. He's at peak value. It would need to be a good player to go with the 10th pick - which I would use on a goalie.

I think partially it's her positioning herself at the helm, or at least branding herself that way, with no experience making hockey decisions that have resulted in a decade of futility.

I'm ambivalent on this front and think she gets too much flack, but I can understand some frustration.

Really what got her was the statement, "We know more than the fans" when defending their decision to retain GMJB only to flip flop six weeks (or so) later and then gut the scouting dept as well.

How is that over valuing Eichel?

If anything, Eichel is underrated.
